Convention dinner at the Castelgrande Restaurant, located in a castle in the town of Bellinzona. The castle of Castelgrande overlooks the Ticino valley and is part of a fortified ensemble. Bellinzona's three castles, defensive wall and ramparts have been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
Included: bus ride, dinner, and drinks. Price: CHF 100 / EUR 68

Reception at the Lugano Town Hall.

May 31, 2003, 1 p.m.

Boat trip on the Lake Lugano and visit to Morcote, a charming village on the lakeside. The trip starts with a scenic cruise around the lake, with lunch on board. We'll then stop at Morcote, which has several attractions: the church of Santa Maria del Sasso and characteristic steps leading up to it, the Captain's Tower, Scherrer Park, and the charming village center. A guided tour up to the church and its surroundings will be offered.
Participants may also visit Scherrer Park (CHF 7 admission, just under 5 Euros) or they may stroll through the village center on their own.
